Best Advocacy Websites to be Named by Web Marketing Association in 29th Annual WebAward Competition

In its 29th year, the international WebAward Competition, organized by the Web Marketing Association at www.webaward.org, is on the hunt for the world’s premier Advocacy websites. The WebAwards establishes industry standards for 86 different fields, including Advocacy, Environmental, LGBTQ and Non-profits, judging them on seven critical website effectiveness criteria. Entries for legal websites are open until May 30, 2025.

“Advocacy organizations rely on their website to communicate their message and mobilize supporters,” said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. “The Advocacy industry is very competitive when it comes to Web development and companies can benefit from the independent evaluation of their online efforts They score well in terms of ease of use, design and content, but past judges have noted they would like to see more use of technology and innovation. The WebAward Competition provides a platform for advocacy websites to showcase their impact, innovation and effectiveness in driving social change.”

Judging of websites entails analysis across seven criteria design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use.. Each Advocacy category entry is assessed against its peers and a standardized excellence criterion.

All Advocacy entrants benefit from receiving valuable feedback in terms of their specific scores compared against the average scores for their industry. They also may receive specific comments from the WebAward’s professional judging panel on their Web site development efforts.

Winners of a WebAward in the Advocacy category will also receive:
