To promote Universal Pictures’ Battleship, RED Interactive Agency developed Battleship: Destroyer Experience. The interactive digital experience, as both a mobile app and a website, puts users aboard the USS John Paul Jones guided missile destroyer. Visitors use their device’s gyroscope to move in real space and discover four environments, including an Alien craft. Achievements can be shared with friends on Facebook and Twitter. Targeting men and women ages 12-45, the interactive experience provides users with insights into the film as they unlock exclusive clips and explore the actual naval ship.
