Bridgeline was engaged to totally redesign and rebuild The UPS Store Center sites from the ground up. The project included User Research, Information Architecture, 2 Design Directions, Responsive Design and of course the site build all within a 12 week timeline. In addition, this was the first release of iAPPS ds. The release on the iAPPS ds platform allows The UPS Store to take full advantage of iAPPS for each individual center centrally in its own Bridgeline SaaS environment.
APPS ds users have access to premier website features, including the ability to edit and publish forms, images, embedded video, integrated Google Maps, social media plug-ins and other content. Additionally, iAPPS ds offers built-in Search Engine Optimization management that includes metadata management, auto-301 redirects, and auto-XML sitemap creation.
iAPPS ds is engineered to work with Responsive Design template development, helping ensure that websites are mobile and tablet optimized right out of the box while still leveraging only one single database of content. Furthermore, iAPPS ds is able to offer multiple, customized self-service template configurations and styles to users, enabling them to personalize their site beyond just the content, while still adhering to a company’s brand standards.
At the local level, the new sites attract new customers and engage with local markets. At the corporate level, the customer has complete brand control and the ability to push relevant content to all 4,300 franchises at any time.
