The GoMeals® app provides a holistic approach to make healthy living easier for people living with diabetes. Originally developed to help people living with diabetes to track their critical nutritional information on-the-go, it was recently enhanced for iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad® to include features for staying active and tracking blood glucose levels. GoMeals® allows users to select foods from over 40,000 common items and over 20,000 restaurant menu items, save favorite foods and create custom foods. If users need to find a healthy meal option, they can utilize the GoMeals® restaurant locator to browse menus, view nutritional information and even share their dinner plans utilizing Twitter and Facebook integration. With the GoMeals® activity tracker they can record every workout or activity throughout the day, total the calories worked off, and save favorite activities or create their own. GoMeals® allows users living with diabetes to track their blood glucose levels, and combined with the meal and exercise tags and customized entry notes, this allows users to have context around their blood glucose readings. The all new GoMeals® also offers users flexibility due to cloud sync technology. By simply creating and logging into their GoMeals® account users can access their synched data from a desktop, or other iOS device. With GoMeals® reporting users can view all their data points and their co-relevancy on a customized dashboard to see how they tracked against their customized goals. Customer support is handled on Twitter versus a traditional call center.
