In May, 2012, Sanofi launched iBGStar®, the first blood glucose meter that connects directly to an iPhone® or iPod touch®. The target audience is people with diabetes who use their iPhone for everyday tasks, such as banking, shopping, reading news, and connecting with friends. They take their phone everywhere they go and want a simple solution for managing diabetes discreetly and with the least disruption to their day. The campaign incorporates lifestyle messaging and the excitement and visual energy that users of Apple® devices expect and embrace. Unlike the clinical look of most competitor sites, iBGStar digital assets are as vibrant and engaging as the device itself, reflecting how the cutting-edge technology of iBGStar integrates with the iDevices. The iBGStar® Blood Glucose Monitoring System launch campaign encompasses a broad spectrum of digital assets to reach consumers and the healthcare professionals who treat them, as illustrated in this submission.
