The cost of college is skyrocketing, leaving many families wondering how they’ll pay for their children’s higher education. Sallie Mae wants to educate these parents and their kids — preschoolers through teens — on the importance of saving for college early and opening a 529 college savings fund to do it. Sallie Mae created the following goals for the campaign:
-Increase awareness of Sallie Mae’s save, plan, and pay tools
-Increase applications for state 529 savings plans
-Educate children on the importance of saving, and entertain them in the process
-Develop a lifelong relationship with families aspiring to send children to college
