The audience for the Southern California CityPASS video is composed of leisure travelers, especially families, planning to vacation in Southern California. The video is a sales and marketing tool, designed to let travelers know that they can make visiting Southern California’s top theme parks more affordable and convenient by purchasing CityPASS admission cards for those in their traveling parties. For families, travel can be expensive. For those vacationing with small children, waiting on line to purchase tickets to get into the parks can be especially frustrating. The video seeks to address both of these reservations. It highlights the cost savings and the ability to skip main-entrance ticket lines. It also covers other benefits included with a CityPASS admission card: three full days of back-and-forth access to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, a free “Magic Morning” at one of the parks (a perk typically reserved only for guests staying in Disney-operated hotels), and one-day admissions to Universal Studios Hollywood and SeaWorld San Diego. The video plays on our website, on YouTube, in our trade show booth, and is available to our partners – Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, SeaWorld San Diego and Universal Studios Hollywood – all of which sell Southern California CityPASS admission cards. The presence of the video on our website encourages visitors to stay longer and view more content. And we find that those who stay longer and take time to examine the benefits of a CityPASS purchase are more likely to buy CityPASS admission cards.
