To coincide with the re-launch of the SHOPBOP website, our client asked us to develop a concept that communicated three key pillars of their service process; that SHOPBOP is fast, delivers internationally and offers free returns. Keeping these in mind, we took the launching aspect literally and slingshotted top fashion designers with their deliveries to SHOPBOP customers around the world.
The campaign was a clever mix of both paid and earned media. By featuring these well-known designers and other famous influencers in the production’s cast we ensured that not only would the video draw positive attention, but that our cast members themselves would assist in helping it spread.
The result is an over-the-top and quite literal display of SHOPBOP’s re-launch and services, composed of several versions: a long and short version, teasers, behind the scenes and a mini-game. The campaign was featured on the SHOPBOP homepage and was a huge success with fashion insiders as well as consumers. It was also featured in multiple publications including People Magazine, Elle and The New York Times.
