Best Healthcare Provider Social Media Campaign

Advocate Health Care, the largest provider of healthcare in the Midwest, has recently merged its two children’s hospitals, Advocate Hope Children’s and Advocate Lutheran General Children’s to the new ‘Advocate Children’s Hospital’ and is in the process of a major branding and advertising campaign. With the new look and feel, including 5 furry characters (that help our patients feel comfortable) we needed help identifying a ‘ringleader’. Therefore, we launched a social media campaign on our new ACH Facebook page to allow new and current fans to vote. The goal of this campaign was to grow ‘likes’ and create engagement in the community and at the local Advocate hospitals. Our ‘ringleader,’ the lion is now the face of courage and compassion at our Children’s hospital. The main audience for this campaign was associates, patients and anyone who liked our Facebook page. Results: 1) Lion - 2350 2) Zebra - 1441 3) Frog - 646 4) Pig - 459 5) Beaver - 425 Total Votes: 5321
