Two-thousand eleven was a great year for COPIOUS. Our aggressive growth in both team and billings landed us on the top 100 list of fastest-growing businesses in Oregon, and dictated the move to a spacious new office. Eager to show our appreciation to the clients and partners who made it possible, we hosted an open house in our spacious new digs.
Knowing first-hand how cluttered the inboxes of busy professional can be — and competing with a handful of other business events the same day — we needed a really great invitation.
A humble, human tone was just the ticket. It felt refreshing, and broke the convention of egotistical agencies. It also enabled us to tactfully praise our growth, without sounding out of touch with the dismal economy.
Spunky copy and long-format design helped introduced our team and our personality to new prospects, without sounding impersonal to long-time clients.
Party-goers hate to RSVP, but caterers can be unforgiving. We needed great technology behind the scenes to make RSVPing a breeze for guests, and internal event tracking even easier. Mail Chimp and EventBrite delivered. We saw a 70% open rate, 34% CTR, and the open house was a spectacular success.
