Aiming to renovate the image of constructional industry, Development Bureau breaks the ground on digital platform, including mini-site, facebook and mobile platform with Build-Up Hero game. In this series of integrated campaign, they may explore their career path with an aptitude test, and what�s more, they may even invite friends to play roles in the construction site. Also, for the iphone game develop with comic-style game, contestants would have a chance to take part in the works on construction site, including surveying, bar fixing, formwork tying and concrete grouting.
In recent years, a legion of infrastructure projects is gradually hitting the ground running in Hong Kong. To meet the growing demand for labor in construction industry, the Development Bureau is striving to attract new entrants among the young. But at the time, bias from the mass is acting as a strong obstacle. To combat with it, www.buildhk.hk is therefore introduced to face-lift the industry image, using refreshing layout and clear presentation to project a new vision a prospective career path to every teenager, and for long run, attract new blood to enter the field and increase the number of labor intake. Teenagers can also broaden their knowledge towards the construction industry through playing the construction game at the website.
