After a successful launch of The Home Depot’s Career Facebook page in October 2010, as a pre-emptive strike to keep fans engaged, provide stickiness to the page and provide overall entertainment value, JWT INSIDE recommended developing web-based games aimed at generating excitement among players about a future career at The Home Depot. In addition to providing their fans with fun and engaging content, JWT INSIDE also designed the games to showcase the importance of The Home Depot’s main recruitment initiative which is best in class customer service. Other important elements highlighted in the games were product knowledge, store appearance and inventory management. Five games were developed including Paint Misbehavin’, Helpful Homer, Sort It Out , Tool Box and Cart Hustle.
