As part of a robust Storage Wars Season 2 creative campaign, A&E designed a custom overlay to promote Storage Wars. Developed as a ‘living one sheet’ takeover, this ad was meant to feel like a moving, breathing representation of the Storage Wars Season 2 key art, highlighting the talent and engaging the viewer from the onset. The cast was shot in front of a green screen as money is thrown from their hands out to the consumer, only to hit their computer screen and slide out of reach. The creative concept was developed to represent the high stakes bidding and ‘anything’s up for grabs’ mentality that is required of the bidders in Storage Wars. The unit resolves as money hits the computer screen and then peels off slowly, increasing the time of engagement with the consumer and the tagline presented “GO BID OR GO HOME”.
