Challenge: Create a campaign to fortify the beta-launch of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9, demonstrating the new browser’s benefits and respecting the HTML5 web standards. Client briefing: How to make users discover the beauty of the web through its technological advantages ? Strategy: We created M.O.N.A. – aka the Museum Of Neverending Art – an arty playground demonstrating IE9’s capacities. M.O.N.A. is a virtual user-generated artwork, which is constantly growing and changing. Everyone can make contributions to the neverending canvas, with a simple « click & play » - no plug-ins required. MONA attracted 80 000 unique visitors between September 15th and October 30th. These visitors created 50 000 contributions, producing more than 120 000 pages viewed.
