Tamas Estates set out to conquer an emerging niche for the 20-40 year old budget-conscious wine drinker. MindComet lead Tamas Estates to their digital business objectives through an affordable, powerful design. The wine's existing branding reflects energy, youth, and adventure, so MindComet created an online portal that immerses site visitors in lifestyle imagery that reflects the brand's up-beat personality. The background elements are collaged and layered to deliver a colorful, modern, youthful approach that includes buses, stamps, and architectural elements that combine to convey a "well-traveled" ambience. The site provides information about the line of wines available, offers product reviews, and provides a comprehensive retail and dining wine finder. Visitors are also encouraged to engage with the brand through "Host Your Own Wine Tasting" party planning activity, an element designed to encourage site visitors to spend time on the site and return regularly. Through a five-step process, the activity helps users choose an occasion; locate wines for purchase; download a printable place mat that features descriptions of selected wines; find recipes created to compliment the wine; and finally invite their friends to the occasion seamlessly through Facebook.
