WonderCafe.ca was created as an online community in which anyone - including those who had drifted from 'the church-going habit' - can explore spiritual matters, moral issues and life's big questions. The intention was that this open-minded forum would serve as an embodiment of the more progressive values and approach of The United Church of Canada. This execution is one part of a multimedia campaign that poses thought-provoking questions aimed at driving people to Wondercafe.ca by sparking conversation and debate. Given that the site met its six-month traffic objectives in its first week and has continued to generate steady traffic since the launch, it's an approach that clearly has worked.
