The "Dare to Share" mobile application was built to help Razorfish's clients and colleagues both create and send New Year's resolutions in a new and fun way while appealing to both the serious and comedic sides of participants (and giving back to a good cause in the process).
After choosing a resolution category (ranging from being nicer to people, to turning up the romance a notch or padding the savings account), choose your level of commitment (serious or not-so) and when you want to accomplish the resolution by (next week, or next year). And, if none of the 70+ resolutions are a fit, users can create their own. For every resolution shared via Facebook, Twitter or via email, Razorfish will donate $1 up to $8,000 to the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.
Razorfish's resolution for the New Year in 2009 was an open call for innovation. We asked everyone to send us their business problems, a global problem, or just something that plain bugs them. In 2010, we will continue the call by helping our clients to create experiences that provide value to their customers like helping parents talk to their kids about drugs.
Special instructions: make sure you are updated to the latest version of iTunes (9). With this new iTunes, you can select up to 5 computers to sync your phone so data is not lost/erased. Drag both files from the zip (profile and holiday) into your iTunes, and plug in your phone to synch add computer if necessary. If it prompts you to replace the Razorfish provisioning profile, hit yes. Check after iTunes states that your phone has backed up all data, and look in your phone profile via iTunes to make sure your applications are visible (you can view your phone as it should appear in real life). If so, you are ok to synch. Make sure music and all other categories except for applications are not selected to sync otherwise data will be lost.
