The audience of The Allison hotel mobile site is anyone browsing on their mobile device. After studying the analytic reports of the regular website, we saw that in the later half of 2009 over 7,000 people tried to access The Allison’s website from a mobile device. This fact, along with the knowledge that the demand for mobile services in the travel space was serious (Sixty-seven percent of travelers and 77% of frequent business travelers with Web-enabled mobile devices have already used their devices to find local services and attractions) led us to realize a mobile ready website was necessary.
The goals of this site were met, in that mobile visitors to the Allison are now automatically served the mobile ready website and can easily navigate through the pages, find short descriptions of hotel amenities and services, and make a reservation.
