Until now, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been a technical process out of reach for most MCAD designers and engineers. Involving extremely complicated algorithms and numerical methods used to solve and analyze fluid flow problems, this branch of product development has historically been outsourced to expensive, time-consuming Ph.D. specialists. With the creation of FloEFD by Mentor Graphics, that is no longer the case. Mentor requested that Leopard concept, design and program a banner and 2-minute flash video introduction for this revolutionary new software that clearly showed how FloEFD was able to empower Mentor customers with the ability take full control of every element of their product development process. Using simple, iconic illustrations and an engaging, high-level approach to storytelling, the resulting banner and video introduces the features, functions and benefits of FloEFD without getting weighed down by the highly technical aspects of the software’s capabilities. The outcome was a video that has created major buzz in the global MCAD community and generated large numbers of sales leads for Mentor Graphics.
