Alexander+Tom partnered with Widmeyer Communications, a national Public Relations agency, to create a new web presence for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that promotes their Stop Bullying Now! campaign. Stop Bullying Now! informs parents, educators and children about bullying, while teaching and providing information on how to prevent bullying and find resolutions. Alexander + Tom designed and restructured a well-organized and 508 compliant website that reflects the best-of-breed tastes of today’s youth sites, while remaining appealing to adults. The content is divided into two different audience-specific pages for Kids and for Adults. A+T also recreated the information architecture for the “top level” content to be easy to locate. A user-friendly content update tool and navigation admin tools were developed for the client to add more navigation, update content, add new pages, and change the features and news on the home pages easily keeping the site up-to-date. The site also contains an engaging modular design, flash webisodes and games, and an embedded video player on the homepage.
