Cardinal Health is a global manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies. They help pharmacies, hospitals and other care sites focus on patient care while reducing costs, improving efficiency and quality, and increasing profitability.
The target audience for this effort included hospital executives, healthcare professionals from all “sites of care” and the internal sales force of Cardinal Health.
Cardinal needed an interactive tool to extend the reach and effectiveness of their sales efforts. Their sales force needed an engaging way to explain their offerings to a wide range of healthcare audiences, each with differing needs. The solution was required to work as both a standalone online experience and as a desktop application for in-person sales meetings. Our solution, The Healthcare Landscape, distills these complex offerings into a tangible experience. Content is organized within 13 different “sites of care” that the audiences would be familiar with. Users can also browse the site content by business issue, or by specific services. Key offerings are presented with voiceover and animation, and are explained via problem scenarios that they face on a daily basis. In addition to “sites of care” solution specific content, we tell the larger Cardinal Health Story with a :60 web-show (click the lighthouse).
The tool was received with great enthusiasm by the sales force and is being used in a variety of ways — sent pre-meeting as a “digital hand shake”, during sales meetings for deep dives into specific content, and as a leave-behind for self exploration.
