ePost is a division of Canada Post. Several years ago it launched an online billing system that would enable households to register to access all of the bills online. ePost contracted BlueRush to develop an online campaign that would attract new users and increase number of online bills per household from 1.5 to 5. With ePost’s objectives in mind, BlueRush developed a Rich Media video and Flash animation component that would integrate into ePost’s web site. The campaign was broken into 4 key sections to introduce the user to ePost’s online billing service and address key questions typically asked by consumers signing up for the service. BlueRush’s creative team contrasted the idea of a new service, with the tone of handwritten design (in an animation format) to engage the viewer. Each of the animated screens was hand-drawn by the BlueRush creative team. The online campaign has proven to be extremely successful with viewing times on the home page increasing to 6+ minutes per user and driving 8,000 an average of hits per day since its launch.
