Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society holds an annual meeting each Fall for their charter leadership and all the people that contributed their time to support statewide fundraising efforts. The M.S. Society’s Michigan Chapter’s major, annual fundraising event is called the “da Vinci Awards.” This event recognizes assisted technology and design and attracts community movers and shakers. Organic’s Detroit office worked pro bono to redesign the advocacy website that promotes the event. We reworked the site to give this important event a web presence that would appropriately honor the magnificence of the featured assisted technology, designs and patrons. In the process, just about every skill we offer our clients was put to work for this effort. We developed the new davinciawards.com MS advocacy website with improved structure, navigation, design, functionality and interactivity with the goal of inspiring and motivating visitors to “join the movement” to help those with MS live more life everyday. Following the launch of the site, Organic was awarded the “MS Corporation of the Year Award.”
