Organic designed the US official game site for users of the critically acclaimed PlayStation 3 game title, LittleBigPlanet. The site was designed with the mantra of enabling consumers to master the core functionality of the game, PLAY, CREATE and SHARE, as well as by serving to extend the game experience beyond just game play for consumers.
By tapping into user insights, we designed a platform called LittleBigWorkshop that enables users to develop their skills and abilities at their own pace. Several tools, like the Blueprint Room, Inspiration Room and Workshop Room, are available for users to learn from each other, contribute ideas, and participate in becoming better players.
In addition, the site also serves as the central home for US users to remain engaged with the community and participate in all communications with regard to LittleBigPlanet.
The LittleBigWorkshop site was quickly embraced by the consumers in the PlayStation community, which created approximately 750 workshops and 2,500 inspirations, and posted thousands of user comments on various topics and categories. Game sales are now approaching 1 Million in US sales and continuing to pick up momentum.
