When a Customer is opening a new account or providing personal checking account information in order to transfer money, there is a security process ING DIRECT has put in place for Customers to verify they own their checking account before they can use it. The verification process is similar to other companies like eBay or HSBC. In order to make things easier for Customers, we worked with a graphic designer to develop a fun, easy to use demo that explains the verification process further. Ultimately, the demo will clarify the process and lead to less Customers contacting us asking for assistance on how to confirm their linked checking account.
