The Digital Life Desktop campaign is the 4th iteration of the “Desktop” concept that smh.com.au has executed. The campaign’s primary goal was to increase brand awareness of smh.com.au in the news market. The secondary goal was to demonstrate the diverse content offering of smh.com.au, beyond traditional news.
The creative brings Digital Life to life by highlighting different sections of Digital Life through scenarios on the reader’s desktop including mobiles, cameras, home entertainment, and games.
The Digital Life Desktop campaign targeted AB males and females, 25-40 who enjoy reading the latest technology stories and are interested in the latest gadgets. The campaign ran from 29th October 2008 to 14th December 2008.
