The biggest challenge in advertising Dungeon Runners was delivering the consumer with a fresh take on traditional European Fantasy gameplay settings. As one of Dungeon Runner’s major game strengths is its self-deprecating humor, which pokes fun not just at Dungeon Runners, but the entire MMO genre and traditional Fantasy-game conventions, Liquid decided to spoof “Zwinky” ads. Liquid used a sampling of the game’s items and jokes to create this highly interactive, highly entertaining banner. To date, these ads have received extremely high response rates.
