The web campaign was aimed at families and loyalty program points collectors taking off for the summer, visiting across Canada and wishing to add the benefit of collecting Aeroplan miles with the purchase of their hotel stay. This way, recreational travel becomes a way to accumulate points towards potentially more recreational travel. We had the additional objective of acquiring permission-based contact info for future communications use, hence the development of a contest microsite with a virtual scratch card.
