ASSIGNMENT
In 2007, Ask.com launched Ask3D, an upgraded search interface offering a range of unique features. Ask challenged Agency.com to clearly demonstrate these enhancements in an engaging manner. The ultimate objective was to entice non-users and lapsed users to perform a search using Ask’s new interface.
SOLUTION
To promote Ask’s new visual search experience, Agency.com created a 3D cube, with each side representing a unique benefit. The cube itself is fully interactive, in that a user can spin and move the cube in various directions. The user can select any side by clicking on it. Doing so will reward the user with one of six in-banner videos that clearly demonstrate Ask’s improved search experience.
