It was important to the client that the To Be Continued expandable banner capture the unique quality of the film. By creating a teaser message on the front of the ad it helped it stand out from all of the usual movie banners that are online. The tease of the banner and the warmth of the colors and design drew the user in. Once in we needed to convey the idea that the film was a travel film while introducing the three main characters of the film. In order to do this we put the train of perpetual motion in the background and set the horizon to scroll based on the user mouse position. Keeping with the travel theme we named the menu inside the banner the Travel Itinerary so users can explore the video clips, web widget and RSS feed. All of these things worked together to deliver a banner that was on target with how the client and film director wanted to portray the film to the audience and overall we feel we captured the integrity of the film inside of a web banner.
