With millions of baby boomers approaching retirement age, MetLife sees a growing opportunity to help consumers plan their retirement income strategies; how to maximize retirement income, and how to make retirement savings last and last.

One facet of MetLife's approach is to offer helpful tools, like the Social Security Decision Tool. It helps consumers decide the best age to begin taking Social Security benefits. Should you start benefts at age 62? Or, should you start later, and receive fewer, but bigger payments?

Using the fun Peanuts® characters, and a whimsical sound track with audio narration, the Social Security Decision Tool provides valuable information not offered by other online retirement tools and calculators. At the end of the Decision Tool, users find helpful links to additional information about retirement and Social Security, as well as an online form to request a meeting with a MetLife representative.
