Giveaway Drives Engagement and Membership

THE TARGET
People of all ages across the United States, including current AMCN members, potential members and lapsed members. Specifically, individuals interested in updating their technology via our Total Tech Giveaway. Ultimately, we wanted to motivate people to enter the giveaway and sign up for membership or upgrade their current membership.

THE CHALLENGE
Previous sweepstakes centered around winning a memorable experience, yet for the AirMedCare Network Total Tech Giveaway we wanted to shift to more tangible items – specifically new technology like innovative TVs and computers.

Our strategy? Engage audiences through our exciting giveaway, and then present them with a membership offer too good to pass up. Additionally, we needed to familiarize our audience with the benefits and financial peace of mind an AirMedCare Network membership can bring. It was important to remind them that the unexpected can happen and insurance usually falls short in covering the cost of emergency medical air transport. Yet, with an AMCN membership they would have an extra layer of protection to ease the financial burden of out-of-pocket expenses.

THE ANSWER
A sweepstakes with exciting, tiered prizes to attract more participants. Rather than a single grand prize, this giveaway offered one hundred plus chances of winning up to $40,000 in prizes. This included five $5,000 Amazon gift cards and one hundred $150 Amazon gift cards that the winner could spend on ‘tuning up’ their tech devices and gadgets. More prizes meant more entries, which equated to increased opportunities for participants to acquire new AMCN memberships, multi-year upgrades or upsells to partner providers like Fly-U-Home. The cherry on top? Bonus entries were given when signing up for membership!
