Best Faith-based Website

The old NIV website was originally developed in 2014 as a temporary promotional site for the NIV 50th Anniversary and then was adapted to function as the NIV brand website.

Goals of this new rebranded site include:
• Update the visual brand to better present the NIV as the leader it is, as the most-read English-language Bible translation in the world and #1 selling Bible translation in the U.S.
• Convey the NIV’s position as both authoritative (accurate to the original languages of the Bible) and equally so as an accessible Bible enjoyable for reading by the average layperson.
• Address technical, functionality, and theme security improvements with a custom designed theme.
• Design a mobile-first experience with new functionalities that make it easy for visitors to try out and compare the translation with others.
• Increase tracking/revenues created by engagement with the blog articles. The site added an easy to way populate product blocks to articles and drive traffic to Amazon with affiliate links to drive revenue without being an ecommerce site.

Audiences:
1. Laypeople of all ages, from all walks of life, who have an interest in Bible reading and study.
2. Pastors and Christian ministry leaders who are essentially influencers for Bible translations.
