This ongoing Paid Media campaign is intended to expand GLAAD's donor base by converting website visitors and social media fans into donors. The campaign also targets an advocate affinity group — people who may not normally engage with GLAAD directly, but who care about LGBTQ equality. While we have ads centered around representation and on-the-ground news — two keystones of GLAAD's work — the main focus of the campaign is on current events, like drag bans and Ron DeSantis' Don't Say Gay bill, because we know that advocacy circles often give in response to injustices.
