Summer is about being outdoors with good friends, enjoying the long, sun-soaked days and the short, starry nights. So, we created a fictional destination that celebrated summer in the tastiest of ways. A place called Camp Faygo.
Camp Faygo has a refreshingly retro feel that will have your nostalgia bubbling up. It allowed anyone to be apart of the fun, no matter where they were. The Camp Faygo campaign centered around our virtual campground: an 8-bit party where visitors could play the kind of games you’d find at summer camp, but with a Faygo twist. Games like Red Pop Run and Thirsty Frog gave players the chance to compete for cool Faygo prizes. But it also gave campers a sense of competition. Having a leader board updated weekly, made for an exciting back and forth with Faygo fans over all social channels.
But camp didn’t stop there. With a ton of video content, out of home, experiential events and even a Faygo campfire song. It was hard not to be swept up in the fine feelings of warm weather and summer camp. After nearly 2 years of being apart because of Covid, Camp Faygo provided the brand’s fans with a much-needed breath of fresh air, evoking a sense of optimism, amusement, and togetherness that we were all sorely missing. Needless to say, it created a lot of happy campers.
