Despite having a place in all of our homes, navigating the appliance marketplace can be a daunting process. Suppose you’re interested in an upgrade. Do you want convection? Number of burners? How many decibels is that dishwasher? And perhaps most importantly – are you looking for a mass market brand, or something more premium? Thermador is one of the most iconic brands in the luxury appliance market. And in order to best help users navigate their line of premium products, they worked with us to create a recommendation quiz. Here, we ask users a number of questions to determine the needs of their kitchen (is their space big, or small? Do they prefer ovens or cooktops?) Based on their answers, our unit recommends a specific collection within the Thermador family. In that way, then, this experience is less of an ad and more of a shopping concierge. It doesn’t just introduce users to Thermador products – it also personalizes the suggestion for each user. This personalization strategy paid off. We saw full-funnel performance, with increases of 16% in Awareness, 14% in Familiarity, 19% in Consideration, and 16% in Preference. Even better, this unit drove a stunning 4.7 interactions and 9.4% CTR.
