Cushing syndrome patients typically face a long road to diagnosis and are often misunderstood by friends, family, and even their doctor. When they finally are diagnosed and treating, they often feel unsupported. Cognitive issues associated with the disease can exacerbate these challenges. That’s why we created Corcept Cares—to provide people taking Korlym with personalized, one-on-one support throughout their treatment. In this video, we educate people taking Korlym about the program and invite them to join. To make the sure the story was simple and easy to understand, we broke it down into digestible sections and kept the design elements clean and subtle. By introducing a patient companion character from the onset, we provided the audience with someone to learn along with. To help program look and feel like nothing else patients typically see, we used a nontraditional approach to represent character diversity, depicting them in various shades of blue. To keep the audience interested throughout the video, we worked with a voice-over artist whose sound and tone were unique and upbeat.
