There were two primary goals of this competition: the first goal was to obtain new user generated content to share on STA’s social media channels as this has been quite scarce since Samoa closed its borders to international tourist early in 2020. The second goal was to generate an increase in engagement across the primary social media channels of Facebook and Instagram to keep Samoa in the hearts and minds of its audience until it can again welcome them back.
