How do you tell people that what they think they know about life insurance might not actually be the truth about life insurance? Make it fun! We were tasked with the goal of using a series of three videos to dispel common life-insurance myths in a fun way. With three videos to work with, we saw this as an opportunity to mimic a TV series format. We took inspiration from the popular series Myth Busters by creating our own mini-series called Myth Squashers. Each short video follows the same format: pull viewers in by squashing a “fun” myth people might encounter in their daily lives, then follow that up by squashing a more educational insurance-related myth. All the while, viewers are entertained by the eye-catching visuals and animation, along with an engaging voiceover “host.”
