Conventional wisdom says to always save for a rainy day. However, there are so many things you could theoretically save for – college, vacations, a new home, and more. Luckily, Ally Bank’s “buckets” product allows users to mark their cash for specific goals without having to separate their funds into completely different accounts. Because this Ally Bank product is so customizable, they decided to commit to an equally personalized interactive experience. So, they worked with true[X] to build an interactive exploration – think something along the lines of a digital museum exhibit – that allows users to see exactly what kind of savings power is available through Ally Bank. The ad ran alongside long-form streaming video content, where users had the option to spend at least 30 seconds interacting in exchange for a lower ad load for the rest of the episode they were watching. Exploratory experiences tend to be a hit among interactive ads, and this Ally Bank unit is no exception. This unit drove increases in Awareness (+43%), Familiarity (+55%), Consideration (+54%), and Preference (+54%).
