Elsevier’s COVID-19 Healthcare Hub was created to provide evidence-based content and resources to support healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses and pharmacists, as they care for patients during the pandemic. The goal of this campaign was simple: Provide current, evidence-based content about the novel coronavirus to clinicians throughout the pandemic to help them improve patient outcomes. We removed obstacles to accessing this critical content and delivered it in a user-friendly, mobile-first format that surfaces content to a user’s specific care setting. Since launch, more than 900 global healthcare organizations have accessed the content, reaching 224,000 users via the website and our social media promotions. Given the incredible levels of stress healthcare providers are experiencing during the COVID-19 outbreak, we also developed a Mental Health section of the site to provide clinicians with practical tools and information to help prevent burnout and build resilience.
