What better way to show this off to digital consumers than with an interactive brand experience that lets users choose their own path? With its many options for cold weather outerwear, winter is a key time for Lands' End to shine, what with their many options for cold weather outerwear. Lands' End’s website is essentially a catalogue of endless options. That’s where true[X]’s unique canvas came into play. This interactive engagement allowed users to view Lands' End’s video content, while exploring a carousel with click outs to their Men’s, Women’s, and Kid’s winter clothing lines. This meant the ad could cast the widest net possible since it avoided the guesswork of targeting the wrong audience. Furthermore, the user could choose to explore more than one path. In the event that the user wished to focus fully on the video portion of the engagement, they needed only wait until it finishes. The banner then expanded on its own, making all three calls to action even more apparent. Pre-determining the brand journey to take the user through a guided experience resulted in an impressive CTR of 29%. Engaging content plus three clear cut directions for the user to take gave them ample time to explore–they spent an average of 52 seconds, nearly twice as much as the 30-second minimum.
