As a follow-up to their email welcome series, American Intercontinental University sends a special email campaign for those subscribers who had low activity during their introductory phase. Audience members with lower engagement are provided additional nurturing with a goal of growing knowledge about the university and providing information that appeals to today’s busy students.
With heartfelt images of graduates reaching their goals and small snippets of content providing unique perspectives and relevant information about topics like tuition reimbursement and fitting school into a busy schedule, this campaign has successfully grown engagement. This campaign which was sent to lower-activity audience members drove an average open rate that was 45% higher than the education industry average, and an average click-through rate that was in line with industry averages.
