The May edition takes travel-enthusiasts from Pa’ako Cove, Maui to dining on fresh ceviche in a colorful fishing Chilean fishing town with a featured article on secret beach escapes. Subscribers are also treated to travel ideas for exotic, relaxing getaways. The email highlights a video documenting the rescue of a guest’s underwater camera as well as an Instagram hashtag encouraging users to share their #RCmemories.
The email features gorgeous images of alluring destinations in a newly designed template created with a goal of driving travel inspiration for the brand. The May edition generated an open rate that was 20% higher than travel industry averages and a click-to-open rate that was in line with industry averages and met campaign goals.
