The Jargon Defined video series was created as a way for Webster to address financial literacy, not just during April (Financial Literacy Month), but throughout the year. This series aimed to humanize Webster Bank, and make banking terms easier to understand.
We worked with our client to determine the lines of business that were marketing priorities for the year. From there, we looked into common banking jargon acronyms relevant to those lines of business. A selection made the cut and we focused on these terms when interviewing participants.
These videos reflect authentic voices of the communities Webster serves through street-style interviews across their footprint. Here they vow, as a brand, to avoid jargon and helpfully define the terms.
