Military Made is a 5-part multimedia series that spotlights veterans who have achieved career success after leaving the Armed Forces. It is produced by Forbes' content studio in partnership with the Department of Defense to meet the following objectives:
--Increase consideration of Military service among young adults;
--Increase the likelihood that adult influencers will recommend enlistment or support youth’s decision to enlist;
--Change perceptions of those who see the Military as a “last resort”; and
--Educate target audience about how Military service can build skills that guide veterans to a successful career.
Each post profiles successful veteran entrepreneurs and business leaders and professionals, using original photography, audio clips and quotes from these inspiring individuals to chronicle their career success. With distribution on Forbes.com’s Leadership and social media channels, Military Made reached readers highly interested in military service and education. Military Made was recognized as “Best of the Week” by Numerator’s newsletter, which spotlights branded content across the Web.
