Sprint scratches out spectacular results

INTRODUCING THE BREAKTHROUGH GALAXY NOTE9
Sprint—a major player in the telecommunications industry—was experiencing difficulties reaching their desired audience. We saw the release of the new Samsung Galaxy Note9 was an opportunity to overcome this.

THE TARGET
Customers looking to step up to an iconic Android device and existing Note customers who are considering an upgrade.

THE CHALLENGE
To drive above average Android upgrades through strong pre-order and launch click through rates.

THE ANSWER
The implementation of a strategy that builds excitement around the launch of the revolutionary Galaxy Note9. The early executions in the campaign offered customers the opportunity to “be the first” and pre-order. Those who did pre-order were rewarded with gifts. During the launch phase, customers were treated to more detail on eye-popping features as well as attractive pricing.

THE WORK
Our campaign was all about building anticipation and excitement. The launch of a new Samsung Galaxy Note is massive news both for existing Note customers and for those looking for the next big thing in an Android device. We invited customers to “be the first” to own the latest, greatest smartphone—one that boasts dozens of never-before-seen features. And there was a bonus: Early in the series, we ramped up the intrigue and interest by introducing the opportunity to receive a free gift with a bold Moveable Ink scratch-off module. The art direction is as elegant as the product and the copy is written to electrify and thoroughly inform our audience.

THE RESULT
In short, we nailed it. The use of the dynamic scratch-off feature drove incredible engagement with a 1366% lift over non-reveal. Although we cannot provide confidential data, we can say that Zeta overdelivered on Sprint’s challenge to create a campaign that would drive above average pre-orders and click through rates.
