Charlotte Prep is unlike any other school in Charlotte, NC, and now our website stands out in our crowded private, charter, and public school market. While the other Charlotte private schools’ websites follow a similar template, ours features innovations in functionality and storytelling. Prep’s website focuses on the pathway from our classrooms to graduation to adulthood. As a result, parents seeking educational opportunities for children ages 2-14 are prompted to scroll from right to left rather than up/down—especially useful when viewing on mobile devices, as most prospective families now do. The homepage spotlights key focus areas—Academics, Leadership, High School Preparation and Readiness, Sports, The Arts, and Extra-curricular Opportunities—that link to interior pages with details on curriculum and the Prep educational experience for each area. Prep partnered with the creative team at Interactive Schools, a London, UK-based firm that places the user experience at the center of their innovative website designs.
