Hotel Riverton partnered with TravelClick to implement Personalized Remarketing Emails for abandoned users to recapture bookings through the hotel’s direct channel. This personalized experience is powered by predictive algorithms that leverage guest insights from TravelClick’s Customer Relationship Management solution and clickstream data from TravelClick’s iHotelier Booking Engine 4.0. Leveraging this integration and algorithm, Hotel Riverton automatically delivers tailored and targeted offers to abandoned users that compel them to complete their purchase. Hotel Riverton implemented Personalized Remarketing emails while the product was in beta in August 2017 to target abandoned users and drive more bookings back to their direct channel. Over the course of the four-month beta, Hotel Riverton sent a total of 397 remarketing emails. Of the abandoned users who received these tailored remarketing emails, 64% clicked through to return to the booking engine and 18% of them booked a reservation with the Hotel Riverton. Overall, the ten beta properties that implemented personalized remarketing emails experienced a 47% conversion lift when compared to standard rates for the same properties. For the Hotel Riverton, the personalized remarketing emails exhibited an astounding 130% conversion lift compared to standard rates.
