In the CF space, Vertex GPSTM: Guidance & Patient Support is known for their dedicated network of Case Managers and the one-on-one support they provide. That approach extends to everything they do and the services they offer, and truly is the fabric of the program. And their online video series Delicious Dishes is no exception.

Since CF makes it difficult for the body to retain nutrients and vitamins, patients are encouraged to stick to high fat and high calorie diets. This is especially important when taking certain medications. That’s how the idea for Delicious Dishes was cooked up.

Delicious Dishes is so much more than just a cooking series. It allows patients and caregivers to feel even more connected to their Case Managers by stepping into the Vertex kitchen where these videos were shot. Each video has a sense of authenticity because the Case Managers are sharing who they are while cooking their favorite meals—some of which are treasured family recipes. Instead of just sending a list of fat-containing recipes, GPS Case Managers took it one step further by putting on their chef hats and creating an everyday resource that’s engaging, beneficial, and enjoyable.

While the recipes featured on Delicious Dishes aren’t necessarily organic, the dedication to helping patients always is.
